Deep Sea Dream – the third album. In the beginning, there were three characters: Poncho, the sad and violent madman. Rambler, the dreamer, big talker and wanderer. And Marie, who embraces the whole world with open arms. Three aspects – three fragments of Timo Keller’s personality and musical works. These characters inspired the songs Keller sings, off the cuff as ever or cobbled together in classic Lennon style. Lucerne-based dramaturge and writer Béla Rothenbühler turned these cobblings into lyrics, putting his own spin on Keller’s love stories. The result is “Deep Sea Dream”, a tale of three souls filled with sorrow and rage, featuring wind instruments and choirs, a loose narrative involving the three characters hovering like ghosts and blurring into the horizon before ultimately going under. Each in their own deep sea dream.
